Answer: Not sure of the heel drop, but I would not recommend these for walking that many miles per day. They simply don't offer enough support. I would go with a NB 1080 instead. -

Answer: I’ve worn New Balance shoes for the last thirty years and lately I can’t get their shoes to fit. I usually wear an eight. But the eight I ordered was too small; I returned it and ordered an 8 1/2. It was too small so I returned it and ordered a nine. It was too small. At that point I gave up. -
