How do I install the fruit and veggie hammock?
Answer: The hammock comes with two brass plated hooks and an extender rope for easy mounting under your kitchen cabinet. -

Have the manufacturers done anything to strengthen the 'fruit hammock' so it won’t come apart?
Answer: We used ours in travel trailer and with all the motion back and forth, the ends came apart. Netting intact so retied ends and still use dowel for paper towel holder. Not beautiful but works. -

Weight capacity?
Answer: I don't know officially but def holds a good amount. Depends on what you screw it into really. Also to note, where the rope attached to the rod at the top, these slip office in an Rv. That's how I had used it. So secure them stronger if the intention will be to have movement involved. -

How long is it end to end?
Answer: The stick is the longest and it measures from end to end 13 3/4 ''. And the sticks that support the net 4 3/4 ''. -
Question:
How did you hang it with those hooks? Predrill?
Answer: Yes, I pre-drilled the holes under my cupboard and then the hooks went easily in. I could then easily place the dowel onto the hooks. -
Question:
Would it work as a phone stand or be too big? (The stand alone version)?
Answer: It would depend on your phone, but maybe for a tablet. The mesh wouldn't hold it up very well and it is larger than most bananas. Doubt it will work for this application, stick to fruit! -

Is the wood bar removable?
Answer: Yes, it can be used with or without the wood bar.
