It is rechargeable with universal power sources and utilizes the pinch and hold technique. Judging from customer reviews the device has been deemed hard to use at first, and requiring an exact direction to see visible results. One customer regretted buying it saying it gave them more wrinkles. Some even had concerns with the conductivity bar, with one customer mentioning a zip-tie being necessary to hold the probes together.
