The boots have hard leather soles that cause a clicking sound when walking. The boots come with insoles, but according to a customer review, they are not padded enough for some people and recommend replacing them with padded insoles. The boots appear to be of good quality, but one customer complaint was that the boots tore from the inside leather, and the company charged a restocking fee. The boots are not authentic alligator but made of leather pressed into a crocodile shape. The boots do not come with steel toes.
