Fel-Pro Engine Oil Coolers & Kits ES 72519 Editorial Review
** Fel-Pro ES 72519 Oil Cooler Gasket** The Fel-Pro ES 72519 Oil Cooler Gasket has earned a strong reception among customers who have tackled oil cooler issues on their Ford trucks, particularly the 7.3L diesel models. Users report that the gasket kit effectively seals leaks, eliminating oil drips that previously plagued their vehicles. With many noting that it fits like OEM components, the whole kit offers the convenience of having all necessary seals and o-rings in one purchase, which is a significant advantage over sourcing parts individually. Installation is highlighted as a labor-intensive process, often requiring a full day to complete. Customers recommend thorough preparation, including draining coolant and taking care to clean all mating surfaces to ensure the best seal. Many users emphasize the importance of using lubricants like assembly lube or petroleum jelly to ensure a smooth fit for the gaskets, contributing to their effectiveness. Feedback is generally positive regarding the performance of the gasket after installation, with several users mentioning that they have not experienced any leaks post-repair. However, some caution that due to the nature of these gaskets, regular maintenance and potential replacement may be necessary every year to maintain optimal performance. Overall, the Fel-Pro ES 72519 Oil Cooler Gasket is viewed as a dependable and practical solution for resolving oil leaks, combining effectiveness with an ease of installation when proper procedures are followed. **
