    Answer: Yes, the plate is designed to be compatible with Arca-Swiss style tripod heads and quick release systems.

  • Question: Will this cover the battery door on my D850?

    Answer: On the D850 it won't cover the battery door. You may have to move the mounting screw to the slot on the far end from the center.
  • Question: What are the dimensions between the centers of the two screw slots? I'd like to mount this onto a camera cage using both slots for more stability.

    Answer: Mine is 5/8 to 11/16 of an inch. I use the center one. The plate has some orange rubberized material. When I tighten the plate to the camera body I do not have issues with it moving. I have tried several. This is my favorite.
  • Question: Would this be useful to carry a 150-600mm sigma contemporary lens and how would you rig it up? and what strap would be a good match with that lens?

    Answer: Does the 150-600mm Sigma lens have a Arca-Swiss built in on the foot? If not the lens plate could be attached to the foot of the lens. The Arca-Swiss plate I use is attached directly to the camera body. I use it with smaller lenses. My 150-600mm lens is a Tamron. It has a built in Arca-Swiss on the lens foot.
  • Question: Is this plate compatible with flm arca clamps? I’m concerned about the pin on the clamp lining up with the gaps on the bottom of the plate.

    Answer: Yes, this plate is compatible with FLM and RRS and ProMediaGear and Kirk clamps.
  • Question: What are the dimensions of this item?

    Answer: The Plate is 1.5 inches wide and 0.35 inches thick and 3.5 inches long with strap loops.
