Answer: Yes, it comes with a full replacement 2-year warranty. -

Are these jaws dovetailed on the inside to hold a tennon as well as the outside?
Answer: The inside of the jaws are not dovetailed, only the outside. -
Question:
Will these jaws hold a longworth style chuck?
Answer: Nova has their own longworth style jaws that fit the chuck system. I don't know if a non-Nova accessory will fit on it. -
Question:
I have a Central Machinery lathe with a 3/4 inch spindle size. Will this fit on it?
Answer: JS50N are jaws for any Nova chuck. You need a Nova chuck with the proper bushing to fit your lathe first. Nova often includes a set of jaws with their chucks. Nova has different thread pitch 3/4 inch adapters. You also need to know the number of threads per inch of your lathe spindle to get the correct adapter. -
Question:
What is the thread size on this chuck?
Answer: I believe it's 1 inch and 8 threads per inch (TPI). The Nova chuck manufacturer has different threads available, if I remember correctly. 1 inch - 8TPI is a common thread used by Delta and Jet. -
Question:
Will this work on my Wen 8x12 lathe?
Answer: This chuck should work on your lathe. You will have to get an insert for this chuck that matches the threads on your spindle. This chuck always needs an insert to match the threads on your spindle. After you have the insert, it should work fine. -
Question:
Is it the whole chuck or just the 4 jaws?
Answer: Just the jaws, the actual chuck can be a variety of NOVA Teknatool chuck bodies. Probably one of the most versatile jaws I use. -
Question:
What's the smallest, in inches, that the jaws will clamp to?
Answer: When the chuck is closed, the distance inside the chuck is 1 3/8 inches and outside closed the distance is 3 3/4 inches. The distance outside is 3 3/4 inches with chuck expanded and 3 1/4 inches inside expanded. -
Question:
Do these also come with extra screws to attach jaws to the chuck?
Answer: No, you have to purchase an extra screw pack.
