It is not meant to be used for sewage as it can only pass 1/4 inch solids. For single-phase power sewage applications, Tsurumi offers the 50UT2.4S and 50UT2.75S models. If you need floats, the 50UTZ2.4S and 50UTZ2.75S models are available. This pump is capable of pumping uphill for 50ft without any problem. The discharge is threaded, and it is 3" on the HS3.75S model while the HS2.4S model comes with a 2" discharge. However, it does not have an on-off switch, which could be a drawback for some users. Customer reception: Customers have found the Tsurumi HSZ3.75S to be an effective and heavy-duty pump. It has been used for various applications such as emptying a pool and draining water from a basement.
