    Answer: They came as a pair. I had the same question. I don't know how you could do fine hand carding with only one carder. Good luck. We use them for felting project
  • Question: Would these work to blend cotton and 0000 steel wool? Yes I know this is an odd thing to ask.

    Answer: Hi RodXXXPlease understand I have not tried this, but it is my belief that because the steel wool is so fine at that gauge, it would work. My main concern is not whether the tool would handle it, (keep in mind you get two so that extends your life a little bit), but whether the steel wool would tear the cotton apart.
