Some customers experienced issues with the lid not opening even after replacing the batteries and leaving the unit powered off. NINESTARS customer service was responsive to customer issues with replacements provided. Users had difficulty with removing the promotional stickers from the can, with some using a hairdryer to warm the adhesive. For users who need to organize their recyclables, the divider can be easily removed. The trash can with each side divided into two 9 to 10-gallon capacity compartments. Replacement parts can be purchased directly from the manufacturer.
