The WINDCAMP Quick Release Antenna Support is a well-made and solid bracket that allows the IC-705 to be tilted upward while positioning the attached antennas to be erect. It has a so239 antenna connection on top of the bracket and is very well made. However, some customers have experienced issues with stability and locking the bracket in place, making it difficult to insert or remove the microphone jacks. Additionally, it does not fit the ARK-705 cage without modification. Overall, it is a useful accessory that removes Constant changing of the connector on the main frame and keeps the strain of the antenna wire off the radio connector, especially useful for VHF/UHF operation where the antennas are smaller.
