The Retrospec Alameda Skateboard Complete is a Canadian maple wood deck skateboard with 5.5 inch aluminum alloy trucks that is ready to ride straight out of the box. The wheels are just over 2” or 51mm in diameter, have a durometer rating of 95A, and the board has grip tape included. The deck is 31" Long x 8" Wid with a 7-ply Canadian Maple Construction and the ideal amount of concave for tricks. Reviews of the skateboard are mixed. Some customers found it to be a good starter board for beginners at a reasonable price, with good sturdiness and reliability. However, others had issues with the quality of certain components, such as the cheap kingpin nuts, bearings that snapped within a few rides or the wheels and trucks not being ideal for more advanced tricks. Some riders felt that the wood material of the board is subpar and doesn't hold up well over time with hard use. Additionally, some felt that the board was slow and could be difficult to control.
