Peerless-AV TV Wall & Ceiling Mounts ST680P Editorial Review
The Peerless ST680P Tilt Wall Mount for large TV displays has garnered a mixed reception from customers. While it is praised for its solid Construction and stability, particularly when mounting heavyweight TVs, numerous users have expressed frustration with the installation process and the unclear instructions provided. One of the standout features identified by users is the mount's robust single-piece metal design, which facilitates anchoring to three wall studs, enhancing safety. The adjustable tilt is also noted, although the associated adjustment process can be cumbersome, especially when the TV is already mounted. The mount includes well-thought-out elements like kickstands that aid in connecting wires and height adjustability, which adds to its overall utility. Customers appreciate the variety of hardware included, which fits a range of TV models, and the responsive customer service that addresses installation inquiries swiftly. However, the tilt adjustment mechanism has been criticized for being overly complicated and the release mechanism's strings are deemed too short for larger TVs, adding yet another layer of inconvenience during installation. In summary, while the Peerless ST680P offers a powerful and sturdy solution for mounting large televisions, Prospective buyers should be prepared for installation challenges and unclear instructions. **
