What type of brake controls can the wiring harness be used with?
Answer: The wiring harness can be used with brake controls that have a wiring port built into the back of the unit. -

What is the difference between 1-Plug and 2-Plug styles?
Answer: 1-Plug units require splicing into the existing pigtail while the 2-Plug unit can simply be plugged into the back of the brake control and the vehicle's port. -

Where does the custom connector end plug into?
Answer: The custom connector end plugs into the electric junction box beneath the dash of your vehicle. -

Answer: It fit my 2001 1500 series Suburban perfectly--literally plug and play, so I would think the 2500 series would be the same. -

Answer: Wiring is different on 2003. It will physically fit but the two wires have to be reversed. There is another model for 2003. -

Some say this is plug and play, others say you need to access the fuse box and use a wire tap? I though this literally just plugged in down low?
Answer: This towed brake controller may plug directly into a socket provided for it, or, in the case of our 2005 GMC 2500HD, a separate "adapter" is required. -

Answer: I have had no problem with this draining my battery the truck that it is installed in sometimes sits for two or three weeks without being started and it always has started when I needed it. Good luck
