The feeding guidelines suggest varying amounts based on the animal's body weight, ensuring that each hedgehog receives appropriate nutrition to support their health, particularly in weight management. This dry food is formulated to be complemented by fresh water and can be transitioned to drier options after acclimatization. Many pet owners appreciate how this diet promotes healthy weight while enabling hedgehogs to thrive on natural meal supplementation if needed.
