Gator Stands BROADCAST1 Editorial Review
Shure by Gator Deluxe Broadcast Desktop Mic Boom Arm (SH-BROADCAST1) is an excellent choice for serious audio work, promoting a modern design with robust metal construction that holds up to 2 kg of weight—ideal for heavier microphones like the Shure SM7B. Users appreciate its stability and cable management features that keep your workspace tidy. It offers great flexibility with an extension arm that adapts well to various mic setups, enhancing usability for podcasting and voiceover work. However, some have noted that the plastic joints can be a weakness, and while the arm doesn't collapse easily, its impressive height and stability make it worthwhile for most users.
