Hook and loop closure knit lined collar with Finish Line “FL” logo. Straight leg “boot cut” design with stirrups for enhanced protection. Elastic wrist cuffs are black, blending or contrasting depending upon suit color. 180-degree arm gusset for increased mobility and comfort with less fatigue. Features zippered closure with hook and loop waist and dual pockets. Available in black or gray with contrasting accents. Added lower back and crotch area stretch panels for comfort and mobility. SFI 1 with a SFI 3.2A/1 rating (with sewn in certification tag) Thermal Protective Performance (TPP) rating of 6. Seven sizes available from Small to 4X. Affordable Safety for Every Type of Racer Whether it is a sportsman level circle track car, a bracket class drag racer, or a good old fashioned demo derby ride, no matter what you strap yourself into on a Saturday night, you should be thinking about your safety. Your number one fans (your family!) love to watch you race, but they also want to see you make it through your race weekend. We can’t always control what happens on the racing surface, so your best bet is to be properly protected for those instances where you’re simply “along for the ride” and need to keep yourself protected from instances of fire. A quality racing suit is just what you need, and our single layer FRC-based one-piece fire suit is the perfect answer for sportsman level racing classes that do not require Nomex-based protective gear. This SFI-1 one-piece driving suit offers peace of mind and when it comes to fire protection. The single-layer, SFI 3.2A/1 fire suits have a TPP (Thermal Protection Performance) rating of 6, promising up to three seconds of protection from second degree burns. While three seconds doesn’t sound like much time, with practice you should easily be able to release your harness and exit your race car within a period that the TPP rating will be sufficient. One-Piece Racing Suits Provide Superior Fire Protection The popular one-piece driving suit construction is preferred by many racers, as there is no opening for heat and flame to enter the suit like there is between separate fire suit jacket and pants setups. This one-piece suit design means that you are better protected with minimal points of entry for heat or flame to reach your body. The one-piece suit features dual reinforced shoulder epaulets that give safety crews a secure grab point in the event of extraction from the car, while the elastic wrist cuffs minimize heat and fire entry. The pant legs feature a boot cut with stirrups that provide more protection around the ankles while preventing the pant legs from riding up and exposing your skin. Additional features of these Finish Line one-piece fire suits include 180-degree arm gussets for increased range of motion and driving comfort, with a knit-lined collar and lower back stretch panel along with a second stretch panel in the crotch area as well. Front pockets and a zippered closure with hook and loop flap round out the suit’s features. The racing suit is completely washable in standard home appliances using any one of our racing suit cleaner products. Though spot cleaning is often all your suit will need.
