Answer: The sidewall fabric split away from the top within 9 months with light wear. -

Is the lining real wool?
Answer: I don't believe it's wool. It looks and feels like sherpa. My husband just loves these slippers, he says they are extremely comfortable. -

Has anyone washed these yet? And on what temperature did they turn out ok after?
Answer: Hello, don't put them in washer. Use hot soapy water with a nail brush to clean inside. Use washing up liquid or shampoo. The thing you must not do is to get the soles wet. Tops are leather. Mine turned out good. -

How thick are the soles?
Answer: Difficult to say for the sole inside is soft with warm insole packing which squashes down. The black sole measurement is 10mms - waterproof - and I imagine the grey material to be reasonable. A nice-looking slipper-sho. -

After a relatively short time (2 months) my husband says these are really smelly! Any ideas on how best to wash them to remove the odor?
Answer: My husband said the same, we ended up getting a different pair. Sorry, I can't help. -

Answer: That’s odd. I found them very large for a size 7. -

Are these easy to put on for those less mobile?
Answer: These slippers are excellent. Our son finds these slippers easy to put on (he is mentally not physically disabled) and depending on the degree of mobility these slippers should be easy to put on. The little tag at the back of the slippers helps. The slippers are very comfortable. Best slippers we have bought him.
