Are they good for shifting on the bike? I'm worried the heel will get in the way.
Answer: I have had trouble with the heel getting caught on the foot peg while trying to shift. I am buying a different pair for this very reason. -

Is the heel a little high for riding? I just don't want to roll my ankle and drop my bike.
Answer: I don’t think it’s too high. It’s very comfortable To ride. It’s not a high heel more like a hiking boot -

Are these waterproof? I can't tell
Answer: I've wore them when it was raining and my feet didn't get wet. So that's all I can tell you never stood in big water puddles for long period of time. -

I have wide feet and I normally wear an 11. Do they fit loosely on normal width feet?
Answer: I bought these over 8 years ago, they are in good enough condition my 14 year old daughter wears them, however they do run wide so the toe is slightly worn due to more movement from small feet. Size 8 but they are wider than normal , you’d love them! -

Answer: I have a wide foot and they do run a bit wide so a regular size 9 fit me like a wide. -

Do they have good traction on them?
Answer: Yes. I wore them first time on a wet misty day and I had good grip. No sliding. -

What is the calf circumference?
Answer: They are regular and the come right below the calf
